If given an opportunity for me to meet anyone in the world then I would like to meet Angelina Jolie. Now all people would tell me that the only reason I would like to meet her is that she is beautiful to which I will accept gracefully but that’s not only the thing motivating  me to meet her. She is an angel to many people who has suffered in the recent earthquakes and storms. She is UN Goodwill ambassador providing help and reaching to those people who need help the most. She is blessed with beauty, brains and above all a good heart. I would love to meet her any point of my life and any point of her life. I wish that she keeps on doing the good work and spread peace and happiness to the people who needs the most. Cheers to Angelina Jolie.

Not the job but me

March 24, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment

We all want to stand in our own feet and then to do that we do a lot of research. Job is one of the most important decision you make in life because once you get into the job, most of the people stick to that job for a long time. My job was a customer care representative where I was made to talk with irate customers and listen to all their complaints. I used to feel good when I could make the customers understand but that happened rarely. Most of the time the customers always used to shout and complaint. I felt like a sandwich between the customer and the management. I worked for that job for a period of eight months and I left the job for my higher education. Although service in the society is important yet I feel the most important is the person appointed as the customer care representative. My job was good, somewhere I felt that I couldn’t do the justice. However I got the experience of many customers and learned a lot from the job which would help me be a better man in the society.

Living a dream for a moment

Many people have their dreams, some they fulfill and many they don’t. I would like to consider myself among few lucky people who got to live the dream for a moment. I had gone to my school annual concert where we had invited top singers from our local community. We all were excited for the show and we had brought the ticket in advance. When I went to this show, the crowd was at its maximum. That day I realized that we live in a big community. Unfortunately for the band performing, their drummer could not make it to the show as he was not well. Fortunately for me I played drums in local functions and when people told about me to the band, the members of the band called me and asked me whether I could play some of their songs or not. Since they had no other drummer, they made be play the drum for them which I did. I honestly don’t know till now as to how I played the drum but yes I went to the show to be the audience but I became a performer. I lived my dream for a moment. That’s the event which will always be cool to me.

My holiday destination

I have heard about this place in India called Sikkim. It’s a state in India which attracts thousands of tourists around the world. Sikkim is a place where you have the captivating beauty of Mother Nature like mountains, waterfalls, gardens, adventure place for trekking. The feeling of travelling all the roads to the mountain top through the forest, looking at the beautiful cliff, clicking pictures, capturing those moments in a camera simply makes me all geared up. Nothing excites me more than the beauty of Mother Nature and why not admire the beauty created by GOD in a place called SIKKIM in INDIA.

The sweet remembrance

March 14, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment

Last summer I went to my village far away from the noise of the town and vehicles. I didn’t want to go at first as I thought that I would get bored. Destiny had different plans for me. It was late at night when I steeped on my village. The scenery was awesome and breathe taking. I could see the light on the street making the small market a lovely place. I could see the warmth and smile in the people who respected guest and treated like God. The mild rain at night made the air fresh and sweet. Now I am back in my town but whenever it rains here, I go back to those days in my village bringing a sweet smile in my face. Those sweet memories and my village, the cool place that I would like to visit again.

It’s all about me

We human beings are born to change. We are born as child, and then we reach the teen age and then finally to an adult age. I have recently crossed my teen and now in the early 20’s. I am seeing a lot of interesting things and meeting people from different cultural background having different experiences in life. My college day’s right now is totally new to me. I don’t have to ask permission from my parents to go out of my room. I don’t have to keep an eye on my parents so that they can’t catch me watching movies in my lap top. I don’t have to eat same food all time. I don’t have to listen to my mother and get her approval regarding my attire. I feel like I am a free bird and want to fly high but I will keep in mind that I won’t fly high because the fall from great height is very painful.

Whole Family is Ill

March 9, 2010 by admin · Leave a Comment

Over the past week my entire family has caught a cold. My husband is sick as is my mother. Everyone has the same symptoms and everyone feels very drug down. I am just about the only person in my family who is feeling well, so I am in charge of taking care of everyone! I do feel bad that my family is sick. I even went out and picked up a few gifts for both my husband and my mother. For some reason, when I am sick, if I receive a present, it makes me feel a bit better, so I thought it would also make them feel less ill. I know that is a silly thing to think, but I really just want everyone to be happy, and when someone in my family is sick, I get upset quite a bit! Gifts are something that can make everyone happy because it shows that I care. It is more the thought than the gift itself.

One of the Best Fantasy Novels

The last book I read was the first novel in the Ancient Mirror Tales series. These are books that have female characters as the lead. I think they are really empowering to read because these are woman who can fight for their country and world. They save the day from evildoers and slay dragons and other creatures. It is nice because more often than not, males generally have the main role in fantasy novels, so this series is really a breath of fresh air to me. I also like how there is an underlying love story in these books. No, it is not the main focus, but it is definitely there. I would for sure recommend this series to anyone who enjoys a fine fantasy novel.
